Born on September 24, 2004

Born on the 24th of September 2004 to Late Barrister Olugbenga Ehaluedu Atafo and Barrister Inebi Atafo nee Eweka

He was called David at birh and was so light skined as he came into the world.   He was so light that someone even asked if his daddy was white.  Both his parents are very dark, God is wonderful.

His Aunt Edosa saw him and then the next day his Uncle Olumide, Aunty Kate and counsin Ryan came to see him.  God bless them.

He was taken home by Aunty Lara.  God bless them.

His daddy was in Nigeria at time of the birth but did not leave the phone.

My first birthday

My first Birthday was amazing my daddy was still alive and that is the only birthday he was alive for.

My daddy had come from Nigeria, he had been away for 2 months.  On his way back he brought me so many things.  He made execise books, pens, keyholders saying "Ohirieme is one Praise God"  My daddy was over the top.... He even made T-shirts for Himself and my mummy saying "Ohirieme is 1 Love Mummy and Love Daddy.  Each of them wore that on my birthday.

I will try to upload some pictures but if i cannnot the main photo Album of my web page has some pictures.  The birhtday party were my daddy is present.

The meal i heard was so good. It was a 20 course chinese meal and it was made with over 100 people in mind.

There were games for the little children who came earlier in the day say about 1 Pm and my Aunty Vanesa was in charge that is Tehila's mum.

It was such an amazing day.  Thank you mummy and daddy.

Milkshake, a television programe also read out a card to me.  Mummy had made the card and sent it off and it was read on my birhday.  It was Bear going into the big blue house.

I was starting school the next monday.  My first birhday was on a saturday.  So on Monday was my first day officially day at the rushes which was the nursery i would be attending.  I had spent the previous week settling in and so this was big official day.  Mummy and daddy took my other remaining cake, execises and a whole lot of party stuff  to the nursery.  We went by bus.

My first step
I was really about 7 months when i took my first steps.  I however started walking unsuported and everywhere when i was precisely 1year and 3 months old.

My 2nd Birthday
My dad had just passed away less than a month ago.  We had just returned from Nigeria where he was burried.  It was a sad time for my mummy and all my uncles and auntties.

However my Uncle IMK and DJ bought me 2 cakes and loads of sweets.  We also moved into a new house that day which was 19 Cypurs Place.  Mummy was going to start an Msc in Project Management.

It was a nice birhtday and i had fun but i miss you dad!

MY 3RD BIRTHDAY

The night before Uncle Olumide brought a cake with my picture on it.  This made me and my mummy so happy.   The next day mum took me to my Nursery, which is Chestnut Nursery at North Woolich.  Fantastic Nursery.  She had during the night before made party packs and some goddies for me and my friends in the nursery.

We had a great time in the nursery.  From the teachers view "Ohirime was really pampered and a lot of attention was paid to him.  When they sang happy birthday to him. He was so shy and was covering his face.  Very unlike him...  I guess he was consumed by so much love."

The love just starts.  My mum came to pick me latter in the evening and she was given some cake they had kept for her plus my own party pack from my party.

Trust me immediately i got in the car i was struggling for cake and chocolate.  My mum just ignored me.

As I got home I was still feeling upset that my mum did not want me to have the cake and chocolate Wow! I notice outside our house that there were baloons with some writing propably saying Remei is 3.

When i got into the house Aunty Jennifer and Mimmie where home and the whole house was done up.  I just kept on saying Wow!  Wow!.   There were 2 cakes One beautiful big chocolate Cake and also a Red racing car cake.  There were baloons all over the living room, Pary packs, presents etc.  Then the food  hmm.. there were all my favorites like cakes, chocolate, crisp, drinks and some that were not my favorite like pizza, and cheese burgers, rice...

Then my friends and their parents, aunties and uncles started arriving.  We took pictures.  I had loads of toys as present.   I got a big bicycle from Aunty Imade my God Mother and Aunty Jeola.  Also Uncle Ohimai in Nigeria sent me a fantastic Action Man Car and of course my uncle Dj gave me a real bruder tractor.

My mum also got me loads of toys, like a real train track and all its assesories, puzzles, educational material and loads of clothes from Next.  Uncle Henry and Aunty Edosa got me a lovely trouser and shirt from Next.  And got some other presents...

Among those who came to my evening party which started at about 7 pm were: Ryan and Zane my counsins, Mimmie, Jessica, Jason, Isreal etc.

I had a really lovely birthday and i love my mummy!
